Liuvash is a Succubus NPC character created by David Noonan who appeared in the Test of the Smoking Eye adventure published in Dungeon magazine issue 107. Her role in this adventure is a minor one, as players will encounter her only once. As she was a minor character, her history is not told but her statistics are given.
The only information given is that she is accompanied by a Noble Salamander when she is encountered. Liuvash's physical appearance is not discussed in the adventure, however the cover of Dungeon 107 has an image of a Succubus which is referred to as being connected to the adventure in this issue. As such, it can be assumed that this represents Liuvash.
Liuvash is encountered when players enter a sanctuary during their adventure. In this place Liuvash is encountered, being accompanied by a noble salamander named Arrokh. Depending on the player's actions previous to entering the sanctuary, they can be ambushed by Liuvash and Arrokh. Liuvash will be the first to attack, if possible and kiss one of the players to draw them under her control.
If Liuvash and Arrokh are surprised, Arrokh is idly moving a flaming sphere from debris pile to debris pile while Liuvash studies a book she found.
As the fight develops, Arrokh will try to protect Liuvash and draw attackers to him. While it is not stated in the adventure, it is possible that Liuvash has charmed him and he is under her control.
Liuvash will only fight as an act of desperation, preferring to use her abilities to control others over fighting. If Liuvash sees that the fight is turning against her, she will try talking to the players while attempting to use charm or suggestion, attempting to turn players to her way of thinking, or to gain time to make her escape possible, Arrokh's plan if the battle turns against him is to take a hostage and make a deal for he and Liuvash to escape.

- Energy Drain (Su): A succubus drains energy from a mortal it lures into some act of passion, or by simply planting a kiss on the victim. If the target is not willing to be kissed, the succubus must start a grapple, which provokes an attack of opportunity. The succubus's kiss or embrace bestows one negative level. The kiss also has the effect of a suggestion spell, asking the victim to accept another kiss from the succubus. The victim must succeed on a DC 21 Will save to negate the effect of the suggestion. The DC is 21 for the Fortitude save to remove a negative level. These save DCs are Charisma-based.
- Summon Demon (Sp): Once per day a succubus can attempt to summon 1 vrock with a 30% chance of success. This ability is the equivalent of a 3rd-level spell.
- Tongues (Su): A succubus has a permanent tongues ability (as the spell, caster level 12th). Succubi usually use verbal communication with mortals.
- Skills: Succubi have a +8 racial bonus on Listen and Spot checks.
