Plot Summary

Greatness isn’t born into. It’s earned. But so is infamy.

Set during the Wild West, Camille is a timid fledgling succubus who dreams of joining Custodia Demonica—a Hell-run organization that deals with all matters of earthen safety and otherworldly threats. Having passed the written portion of her exams, she is chosen from the rest of the seductive cadets to venture on her first terrifying solo assignment that will strain her tempestuous race to its limit and will make or break her dream.

The task is deceptively simple: for months, the town of Docket, Arizona has been assaulted by creatures of the Chasm. A howling tornado of claws and teeth comes when the moon is high, seeking to disrupt the efforts of the New Frontier and turn its residents into monsters. Camille will have less than three days to find out why, save the town, and win the attention of her true love (as well as the attention of every man and woman in Docket).

Will the shy vixen be able to come out of her shell to succeed and earn her coveted fame and respect? Or will her humiliating failure bring the end of the world?

Only one thing is certain: the frisky demon has her work cut out for her.
