Plot Summary

Takeshi is an incubus working in a Japanese host club in an attempt to stay under the radar of demon hunters, and larger demons, while still feeding himself. When Kieran, a university student on exchange from Australia, comes into the club, Takeshi is immediately overwhelmed by the amount of intimate energy he has. He’s sure Kieran could fully satiate his hunger without breaking a sweat.

Kieran is sceptical of the host he meets during his foray into Japan’s more unique businesses. There’s no reason a host would want to date one of his clients, and it’s unlikely that he’s even really interested in men. And when he starts going on about the same energy rubbish as one of Kieran’s weirder neighbours, and even calling himself a demon, Kieran finds it even harder to take him seriously.

Still, there’s something magnetic about Takeshi, and Kieran would be lying if he said he didn’t want to find out more. Similarly, Takeshi can’t kid himself that Kieran is just a meal ticket for long.

But focusing his attention on the wrong human could bring down the wrath of demon hunters.
