Plot Summary

In a modern day world, where the supernatural is a common occurrence, Nicholas, a vampire fledgling, has sworn allegiance to the Father of the Brotherhood. Jeremiah, Nicholas’ ever-patient mentor, endeavors to teach him the ways of his kind set forth by their father, but following his first encounter with one of the legendary chosen named Zion, Nicholas finds himself questioning where his loyalties lie.

Under the law, only the Supernatural Enforcement Team are sanctioned to hunt supernatural beings, but Melanie, a self-appointed hunter, has trouble curbing her natural instinct to eliminate them. Melanie and Nicholas are forced to work together when the S.E. and the Creator of all vampires threatens both of their existences, making unlikely allies of two people on opposing sides of the never-ending war between humans and monsters.
